For some of you this title is intriguing. The word virgin, no matter what the context it is shown, always brings across some kind of sexual connotation. It may make your heart beat a little, it may bring back a memory, or it may just send a little tingle towards your downstairs region. But many of you would be familiar enough through an upbringing of MySpace, Bebo, Facebook, and twitter, that to write the first comment on someones wall is to take their (comment) virginity. So as many of you avid social networking users would then deduce, my blogging virginity has now been stolen, be it by myself. There is nothing sexually explicit in this post, it is merely a comment on how we begin life in a social networking site. Don’t look disappointed, you all knew that from the get go. Now though a lot of us have all abandoned our Bebo or MySpace accounts, I for one will never forget losing my MySpace virginity. My account had existed on the net for but an hour before I realised my virginity had been stolen! And thus began an epic journey of comment fights on MySpace, to the more recent status update fights on Facebook. You all know what I’m talking about. It just shows the sheer magnitude of how big things can get when they start off so small. But they all have to start somewhere. Mine starts here. Let’s see where it goes.
